NüvaBar Assembly

Getting Started is Easy

2. Choose Your Resistance Band

Please follow these simple instructions every time you install or change bands.

Choose your resistance band and snuggly fit one end cap into the end of the smaller tube. Next, lay just the rubber of the band inside the groove of the smaller tube, with the other end cap lying OUTSIDE above the groove. Note, all end caps are wider than the groove and NOT DESIGNED TO FIT INTO THE GROOVE. Lastly, slide the two ends of the tubes together and snuggly fit the remaining end cap into the upper tube’s anchor. For additional information refer to the instructional video or the Quick Start Guide that comes with every NüvaBar.

We recommend starting with the light resistance band with the gray end cap.

3. Aim for your Target Zone

After choosing your resistance band, start your workout and aim for the white, dark gray or orange zones. Each of these colors represent increasing resistance and assistance. To start, we recommend that you aim for the white zone. For greatest resistance push the upper bar all the way to the orange zone on nearly every rep.

Total Body Band Assembly

Attaching the Total Body Band to the NüvaBar

Step One
Remove the NüvaBar’s inner resistance band (see the video above or read the section titled, “Choose Your Resistance Band.”) Once this is complete, slide the smaller, inner tube all the way into the larger, outer tube until the storage tab is fully engaged.

Step Two
Next, remove the Total Body Band from its carton and place one “hook and loop” fastener around the NüvaBar, near the end with the wide handle. Put the strap THROUGH the ‘D’ ring, firmly wrapping it around the NüvaBar and pressing the “hook and loop” straps together. The other fastener is attached in the same way, slightly inside the larger tube’s orange anchor, NOT on the smaller inner tube. Make sure the fastener is attached to the large, outer tube.

Step Three
The length of Total Body Band can be adjusted in two ways. After securing both attachments, hold the NüvaBar with both hands and turn it TOWARDS your body to tighten the large orange band. To reduce tension, turn the NüvaBar slowly the other way. Remember, rotating the NüvaBar, either tightens or loosens the Total Body Band. For minor length adjustments, vary the distance of the orange band between your feet. Remember to always try and stand on the black covering to help protect the orange tube from abrasion.

Step Four
To remove the two fasteners, pull the straps though both ‘D’ rings and remove the Total Body Band. Store it out of direct sunlight.

Wrist Weights

Attaching the comfortable Wrist Weights with the open-palm design

Step One
Remove the Wrist Weights (1 lb. each) from its carton. There is a left and a right weight. To attach the Wrist Weight place one thumb through the hole, with the NüvaBar logo facing up and the weight laying across your wrist. Wrap the strap around your wrist and pull the weight tight while securely pressing on the “hook and loop.” The other Wrist Weight attaches to your other wrist in a similar manner.

Step Two
To remove the Wrist Weights, simply pull apart the “hook and loop” attachment and store the weights flat out of direct sunlight. Periodically, wipe the weights with a mild soap and water solution and let dry flat.
